Terms of Service

SideZero is provided by CurrencyWiki Technologies LLC, doing business as SideZero.

Plain-English commitments: stated limits are the whole limit; you can cancel the paid plan in two clicks; deleting your account is immediate; your own API keys are your property and never leave your browser.

Don't abuse the service (automated scraping of the relay, resale, or unlawful use) — we may rate-limit or suspend accounts that do. Suspended accounts can always reach us at support@sidezero.app; mistakes get fixed.

What you send, and what you do with what comes back: you are responsible for both. On your own API key there is no middle — the request goes from your browser straight to the provider you chose, and we never see it, store it, or moderate it; we could not if we wanted to. Your use of that provider is also governed by their terms and usage policies, and a breach of those is between you and them. On the free and paid Zero plans your message does pass through our relay, so the rules below apply to it.

Acceptable use: don't use SideZero to create, upload or process content that is illegal — sexual content involving minors, material that incites violence, or anything that infringes someone else's rights. Don't use it to harass, impersonate or deceive people, to build or distribute malware, to scrape our relay automatically or resell access to it, or to work around the message limits. We may rate-limit, suspend or close accounts that do, and where the law requires it we will report.

One extra rule on Zero, and the reason for it: messages on the free and paid Zero plans run through our own provider account, and that provider forbids sexually explicit material made for pornography or sexual gratification. Generating it through Zero puts our account at risk, not just yours, so we may suspend Zero access for it. On your own key this is between you and your provider — we never see the request, and their policies are the ones that apply.

AI output is generated text, not advice. Models get things wrong, sometimes confidently. Nothing SideZero produces is legal, medical, financial or professional advice, and we do not guarantee it is accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose. Check anything that matters before relying on it.

No warranty, and a limit on liability: SideZero is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, CurrencyWiki Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from an AI provider's output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which for most people is nothing, because bringing your own key is free.

Age: you need to be at least 13 to use SideZero and at least 18 to buy a plan. Under 18, use it with a parent or guardian's permission.

Referral program: bonuses are one-time per person (this survives deleting and re-creating an account); your own rewards count for your first 10 referred friends each month; a referred friend's bonus always arrives. We may reverse bonuses obtained through fake or automated accounts.

Changes, and governing law: if we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and date it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. If you use SideZero as a consumer somewhere with its own mandatory consumer-protection laws — the EU, the EEA, the UK and many other places — those laws still apply to you, nothing here removes them, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live. We would much rather you emailed support@sidezero.app first; almost everything gets fixed that way.
